TrumpRx, a U.S. government–backed prescription drug discount platform, launched Thursday night with 43 prescription drugs listed as part of the program to help Americans pay lower cash prices for certain brand-name medications.

TrumpRx is aimed at those who are uninsured or who have high-deductible health plans. The website does not sell or prescribe drugs. It acts as a central location that shows discounted prices negotiated with drug manufacturers. The site gives users the option of downloading or printing coupons to redeem at a participating pharmacy or being redirected to the manufacturer’s own direct-to-consumer site to make the purchase.

The same conversation happened numerous times during this past medical and benefits renewal season: A CEO or CFO calls frustrated after reviewing their benefits renewal options, asking some version of "Why can't anyone tell me why this jumped 12%?" In some cases, unfortunately, in this particular year, that "12%" was closer to 30%.

This year has brought more C-suite executives into benefits renewals than I've seen in my entire career. Not because they suddenly care more about healthcare (although maybe they do)—but because the paralysis has reached a breaking point. The costs are too high, the explanations too vague and the strategic blind spot too obvious to ignore. This is especially true when an employer has fewer than 100 employees, and medical carriers often refuse to release their claim experience data for employers of that size.

Too often, substance use disorders go unseen due to misconceptions, personal fears, or concerns about cost and access to treatment. It's become a significant health issue for every organization with nearly 1 in 5 U.S. adults estimated to have been affected last year.

For employers, the hidden cost can be substantial, from losses in productivity to higher rates of absenteeism, workplace accidents, or even life-threatening scenarios. Whether you know it or not, you've likely interacted with someone who has been affected personally or through family, friends, or co-workers.

Nearly four in 10 employees (38%) report witnessing workplace harassment in the past five years, with 21% having been directly targeted, according to a survey from compliance training provider Traliant.

The survey of 2,193 US-based employed adults working in organizations with 100 or more employees found that Gen Z employees reported the highest exposure, with 46% witnessing harassment and 33% experiencing it firsthand. Customer-facing industries reported the highest exposure, with half of hotel, restaurant and bar employees witnessing harassment and 29% personally experiencing it, compared with 32% and 17%, respectively, for office workers.
